Abstract

Alloys for tipping sparking-plug terminals consist of at least one atomic equivalent of iridium, ruthenium, or osmium with one atomic equivalent of platinum. Some of the platinum, for example 20 per cent, may be replaced by an equivalent amount of rhodium.
