478,120. Moulds for curved cementitious articles. TOWNLEY, J. C. May 11, 1936, No. 30713/37. Divided out of 476,680, [Group XXI]. [Class 87 (ii)] A mould for forming curved cementitious units such as for lining tunnels or sewers as set out in Specification 476,680 comprises a curved base plate 21 the rectilinear edges whereof are adjustable towards one another to vary the curvature of the plate. The plate 21 may be of flexible sheet metal adapted to bend or formed in two hinged sections. The edges may be connected by links 24 adjustable by turnbuckles 25. The plate may assume a semicircular cross-section. Strengthening plates 23 and angle pieces 22 are provided. The perimeter of the plate may have side walls 26 having slots 27 for accommodating bars for reinforcing the moulded units. The side walls 26 may be adjustably mounted on the plate. The units may be formed by shooting ' the material against the plate.
