Abstract
476,182. Reservoir brushes. WARRINER, M. June 11, 1936, No. 16.380. [Class 19] Collapsable tube containers for liquids, pastes, and the like, particularly adhesives, are provided with a single tuft of bristles 20, Fig. 1, forming a brush secured directly within the nozzle 14 of a container 10, the tuft having a small tube 22, within that part fixed to the nozzle. The nozzle is contracted at 16, the brush being seated on a shoulder 18, and held by swaging at 24. A cap 26 covers the brush. In a modification, Fig. 2, the nozzle is extended at 30 and the bristle tuft is bound at 34 abutting against a rib 32 and retained by a contraction at the top. In another modification, Fig. 3, there is a second tube 36 over which the bristles are looped, the binding 34 being omitted.
