474,947. Amusement apparatus. BLAND, A. H. Dec. 30, 1936, No. 35729. [Class 132 (i)] In amusement apparatus wherein a vehicle is driven by an electric motor 11 fed by brushes 14, 15 making sliding contact with spaced conductor strips 2b, 2d ... , 3a, 3c, 3e ... constituting the track, the brushes 14, 15 are mounted on resilient arms 12, 13 which are pivoted at 28 to a cross chassis member 27 and are adapted to be swung in a curved path by a pin 25 on the track rod 24 of the steering mechanism, so as to ensure contact with adjacent conductor strips. These strips are turned down along their edges. A track resembling an automobile racing-track is described. Specification 268,297, [Class 132 (i)], is referred to.
