Abstract

A composition to be applied to an exposed layer locally hardened by light e.g. a bichromated albumen layer, comprises a powdered earth colour in a mixture of printer's varnish and petrol or other readily volatile liquid. A suitable composition is printer's varnish 10 per cent, petrol 30 per cent and oil of lavender 2 per cent.
