Abstract
472,917. Kerbs. STENT, D. H. April 9, 1936, No. 10511. [Classes 87 (i) and 107] A slab a for forming a footpath or cycle track is provided at one edge with a kerb flange b, the main part of the slab forming a substantial part of the path or track. The slab may be provided at its opposite edge with a second flange b or i projecting from the same or opposite face thereof; when on the same side both flanges may act as kerbs, Fig. 3. Flanges on the underside act as anchors and may be parallel or at an angle to the kerb flange and need not be at an edge of the slab. The slabs may be used with ordinary slabs h and the flanges may be cut away at their ends to allow for drainage. The slabs may be used with either face upwards.
