Abstract

472,160. Television. RADIOAKT.-GES. D. S. LOEWE. Dec. 17, 1935, No. 35005. Convention date, Dec. 21, 1934. Addition to 465,184. [Class 40 (iii)] An optical image, projected on an apertured disc 8 producing interlaced scanning, is given a trapezoidal distortion which corresponds with the trapezoidal scanning area of the disc, as described in Specification 464,831. The size of the image projected on the double-spiralled disc is finely adjusted by displacing the film 13 in the direction of the incident light by a slide 18 simultaneously with the projecting lens 19. The image is raised or lowered by adjusting the position of the film by a spindle 21. The inclinations of the axis of the light to the disc and to the film are adjusted about a journal 17. The phase of the film is adjusted by an eccentric roller 24. An edge of the film is shaded and is filled in by a very white line, for producing synchronizing signals, which is projected from a gap intensely illuminated by a condenser from the common light source, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown). The position of the white line is adjusted by rotating a piano-parallel piece of glass. Specification 465,185 also is referred to.
