Abstract

468,984. Electroplating apparatus. COLEMAN & APPLEBY, Ltd., and DAWSON, R. April 28, 1936, No. 12044. [Class 41] Articles are supported by clips, the jaws of which are acutely tapered so that they not only effect knife-edge or point contact with the articles but also minimize any " shadowing " effect. The holder shown comprises a pair of resilient wires a brazed to a stem b, the ends of the wires c being formed as above described and provided with V-notches d. A similar holder but with jaws otherwise placed is mounted on the stem at right-angles to the first. Pairs of holders are mounted at intervals on the stem b. The holders may be made of metal strips instead of wire.
