Abstract
412,685. Electroplating. KRONSBEIN, J., 156, Crocketts Lane, Smethwick, and NEALE, C. F., 134, Brearley Street, both in Birmingham. Feb. 16, 1933, No. 4737. [Class 41.] The articles to be plated are mounted in clips b2, Fig. 1, at the end of spokes b secured to a horizontal axle b<3> mounted above the bath ; they thus enter the solution at a predetermined angle and leave at the opposite angle passing through all intermediate positions. In the apparatus shown, the articles are displaced through an angle of approximately 180. The spokes b are provided with ebonite sheaths bl. Modified spring clips are described. In a modification, Fig. 4, cycle rims g are mounted between clips h<1> on spokes h. Anodes k mounted on spokes k<1> are provided in addition to the fixed anodes i.
