[Class 108 (iii)] A vibration-damper includes drums 5 carried by an arm 6 and adapted to co-operate with oppositely arranged friction elements 1 provided with extensions having holes 10 by which they can be selectively secured to an arm 3<1>, the arms being adapted for relative rotation about an axle 4. The ends of the elements 1 may be held in contact with the drums by springs 9. The brake elements may be formed of sections pivoted together or of a spring band.
