Abstract
468,445. Kinematograph apparatus. KODAK, Ltd. Jan. 3, 1936, No. 279. Convention date, Jan. 11, 1935. [Class 97 (i)] In apparatus employing a film magazine, an ejector mechanism is provided through which, as the door of the magazine chamber is opened, movement is transmitted from the door to the magazine to move the latter outwards from the chamber ; the magazine mav be tilted outwards from one end. The ejector mechanism comprises a link 40 hinged at 41 to the door 15 of the magazine chamber and at 43 to a lever 44 pivoted at 45 to the side wall of the chamber. The lever 44 is provided with a crank 47 carrying a pin 48 to engage the bottom of the magazine 24 as the cover is opened and thus force one end of the magazine from the chamber, the ejecting movement of the lever being limited by a lug 49 abutting against the bottom 18 of the chamber. The magazine is held in its fully inserted position in the chamber by curved springs 37 which, after the initial outwards movement of the magazine, bear against the lower edge of the wall 27 of the magazine and urge it further from the chamber.
