Abstract
An electromagnetic vibrating unit, particularly for vibrating screens and concrete moulds, wherein impacts are produced between the armature assembly and the fixed core support, has a winding energized intermittently through a rectifier and the impacts occur during the zero current periods between the current impulses. Where two motors operate on the same body, for example, when they are clamped on opposite sides of a concrete pipe mould, their two coils may be energized simultaneously or alternately and in the latter case each coil utilizes alternate half waves only. Specification 467,813 is referred to.
