[Class 19] Rubber brushes, particularly for cleaning fabrics, consist of loops 3, 6, Fig. 1, of soft rubber placed so closely together that the edges between the loops do not touch the fabric during brushing. The loops are produced, preferably, by incisions in a rectangular rubber strip. The loops 3, Fig. 2, are attached by wooden bars 4 to a stock 1, while loops 6 are attached to a metal strip 7 which is nailed in a groove 2. The other end 8 of the rubber loop is stuck over the end 5 so that the nail heads are covered. In a modification, Fig. 3, rubber loops 11 of more or less circular formation are secured by metal strips 12, 13 with bristles 14 arranged in grooves 15 at each side. In another modification, Fig. 4, for cleaning glasses, series of loops 21, 22, 23 are arranged ring-fashion round a stepped circular stock. The rings are constructed as in Fig. 5, with curved retaining members 33. A number of such rings may be clamped on a cylindrical or conical handle. In a final modification, Fig. 8, loops 35 may be attached to a concavo-convex handle 36.
