464,460. Electric fires. FISKER, M. Feb. 17, 1936, No. 4847. [Class 39 (iii)] An electric fire comprises a step-down transformer 6 incorporated in the structure of the fire, and a heating resistance comprising a thin plate which glows in operation and is disposed to create the appearance of a glowing bed of wood or coal. The plate may be of a nickel chromium alloy, À3 mm. thick. It is provided with projections 9 and inset pieces of carbon 10. Specification 6777/09, [Class 39 (iii)], is referred to.
