Abstract

463,883. Enclosed bowl lamps. SCORER, R. I., and KENSINGTON STAMPING CO., Ltd. Jan. 13, 1936, No. 1033. [Class 75 (ii)] In a lamp of the enclosed bowl type in which the abutting peripheral edges of a bowl and a reflector cover are detachably secured by means of a clamping ring c, and a bolt d and nut e slidably associated with a slot f, an auxiliary locking device is incorporated in the joint of the clamping ring. The preferred device comprises an arm g, of about the same length as the slot, which is pivoted at h and formed with a plurality of longitudinally spaced notches i selectively engageable with the bolt d. The bowl and cover may both be of annularly ribbed conical formation, the cover being externally silvered.
