Abstract
463,450. Lip - guards for drinking- vessels. RICHARDS, I. L. Oct. 24, 1935, No. 29337. [Class 128] A lip-guard for drinking. vessels comprises a corru. gated, annular body which, when applied to the vessel mouth, projects therebeyond for such distance as to prevent contact of the mouth with the vessel when drinking. The corrugations impart resiliency to the guard, which may be used with vessels of varying diameters. The guard a is made of waxed paper and is provided with a mouthpiece c, of waxed paper or card, integral with the guard or inserted between the guard and the vessel. The guard a may be split, the ends overlapping. According to the Provisional Specification, the corrugations may be in the form of a thread.
