462,799. Tyre &c. valves. SCOVILL MANUFACTURING CO. Oct. 30, 1935, No. 17697/36. Convention date, Oct. 31, 1934. Divided out of 462,756. Drawings to Specification. [Class 135] A tyre &c. valve E, such as is shown in Fig. 1 of Specification 462,756, is loaded to close against a seat b, by a spring F, the convolutions of which are of progressively smaller diameter, and the largest convolution of which rests on a preferably re-entrant ledge 2b; the spring is formed of wire of such thickness as not to overhang the ledge. The spring is preferably formed of flattened round wire as described in Specification 462,756.
