Abstract
462,721. Photographic studio apparatus. MUSCHEN, H. Sept. 10, 1935, No. 25153. Convention date, Sept. 10, 1934. [Classes 98 (i) and 98 (ii)] A mirror, in which a person to be photographed can observe the image of himself, is carried on the front side of a plate, which is formed with an aperture for the camera objective and is displaceable, with respect to a stationary frame, in the horizontal direction by a gear and rack and in the vertical direction by a threaded spindle and nut. The camera may be so connected with the mirror-carrying plate as to be rotatable through 90‹ for taking horizontal and vertical photographs, a further aperture being preferably provided for each of the positions at equal distances from the camera objective, a view-finding lens and slidecarrying means being also carried by the auxiliary plate. The mirror-carrying plate 2, Fig. 1, is slidably connected by apertured angle-plates 17 with vertical rods 15, 16 horizontally displaceable on a frame 1 by rack 12 and gear 13, the plate 2 being vertically adjusted on the frame 1 by a threaded spindle 25, working in a nut 26 fixed on the plate 2 and rotated by means of a crank 20 and bevel gears 21, 22. The auxiliary plate 29 carrying the photographic apparatus is rotatable through 90‹ about the taking objective aperture 31, below which is an aperture 33 for the viewfinder objective, another aperture 34 being provided for the view-finder objective for use when the plate 29 is turned through 90‹. The adjustment mountings of the taking and viewfinder objectives are connected so as to be focused simultaneously. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 also includes a description of the subject-matter of Specification 459,694, but this subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
