[Class 146 (iii)] A writing ink, which is in dried form and is dissolved in water or other solvent for use, is prepared by mixing together methylene blue, methyl violet, potassium chromate, sodium carbonate, and sugar, grinding the mass to powder form, and compressing into cakes.
