Abstract
458,353. Spray nozzles. BUCHANAN, J. R., 119, Princess Road, Moss Side, and WATTS, T. W., 191, Denmark Road, both in Manchester. Sept. 2, 1936, No. 23994. [Class 69 (iii)] The spray plate 2 of a rose which engages a funnel-shaped member of yielding material such as rubber is provided at its edge with a bead or flange to engage the yielding material. This flange may either engage the funnel internally as at 8, Fig. 3, or externally as at 12, Fig. 5. The part 1 may be provided with a neck 3, Fig. 3, or with an inturned boss 14, Fig. 5, to engage a pipe &c. In a modification, the connection may be in the side of the rubber part.
