[Class 141] [See also Group XXV] A flexible tacking strip comprises a paper ribbon core, a covering formed of paper ribbons spirally wound thereon and an outer covering of paper ribbons wound spirally around the first covering in a direction opposite thereto. The spirally wound ribbons are impregnated with asphalt and coated with adhesive during the winding operation.
