[Classes 64 (i) and 123 (ii)] A boiler for supplying steam'to sterilizing- apparatus for use in dairies consists of a vertical cylindrical vessel 1 supported on surrounding brickwork furnace walls 5 by a flange 4 formed by an annular plate welded to the top of the vessel. The inner part of the annular plate forms a seating for a steamtight cover 8 secured by a hinged cross-bar 10. Hot water is drawn off through a pipe 16.
