Convention date, April 19, 1934. [Class 106 (iv)] In a speedometer or revolution meter wherein the pointer is rotatable through several revolutions, a disc 2 is automatically moved to display at dial apertures 1a groups of different scale indications on successive revolutions of the pointer. The pointer 3, while passing behind a stationary masking sector 14, engages and moves a second pointer 4 against the action of a return spring. The pointer 4 engages a pin 8 on a bell-crank lever 7 which carries with it a slotted lever 9 engaging a pin 10 on the disc 2, a spring 11 connecting the pin 10 with the outer end of the lever 9, so that the disc 2 is rotated by the pointer 4 through an arc limited by a pin 13 engaging an aperture 12. On the return movement the pointer 4 knocks against a pin 8a on the lever 7 and restores the disc 2 to its original position.
