Abstract
453,357. Burner mountings. MAIN, Ltd., R. & A., and WORTLEY, G. W., Gothic Works, Falkirk. March 8, 1935, No. 7354. [Class 75 (i)] A reversible grilling and boiling burner 10 is supported at the rear end in the position for boiling, Figs. 1 and 3, by one of a pair of projections 28 on a bar 21 thereon, and, in the position for grilling, Fig. 7, by the other projection, resting on the bottom 23 of a socket in a support 15 to one side or the other of a vertical plane 29 through the centre of gravity of the burner so that the operating handle 20 is maintained in contact with a stop 27 or the gas pipe 18, one or the other of a pair of guide projections 22 on the bar 21 being adapted to contact with an inclined side wall 25 of the socket during reversal of the burner. A recess 26 is provided to receive the lower projection 22. The projections 28 and stops for co-operation with the handle may be dispensed with, the burner being located in either position by the bar 21 lying flat on the bottom 23.
