452,648. Half-tone screens. GROVES, W. W., 30, Southampton Buildings, Chancery Lane, London.-(I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges.; Frankfort-on-Main, Germany) Feb. 25, 1935, No. 21790/36. Divided out of 452,578. [Class 98 (ii)] A screen for use in autotype copying processes comprises elements which are star-shaped transparent areas, preferably in the form of three - point or four-point stars. These may be arranged in cross-screen arrangement as shown in Fig. 3a or diagonally as shown in Fig. 4. In the latter case a mesh of 60‹ is preferred. The apertures may be bounded by straight lines as shown or by curved lines. The screens may be used in the process described in Specification 452,578.
