[Class 38 (v)] [See also Group XXXVIII] In a clock-controlled electric indicating system for departure stations, an electromagnet 28 energized by half-minute impulses drives wheels 19-22 designed to rotate once in three hours and geared to drums 38 making one revolution per week. The wheels 19-22 have spaced clamps 29 thereon, each carrying eight pins 30, and each drum 38 carries a spiral row of eight projections 36. Contact springs 32, Fig. 3. are normally held out of the paths of the pins 30 by the pressure of blade springs 34, and only when these springs 34 are dcflectect by the projections 36 can the contact 30, 32 be effected and the circuit momentarily completed.
