460,544. Clock - driven indicators. VOICIECHAUSKIS, B. March 2, 1936, No. 6230. [Class 118 (i)] [Also in Group XVIII] A route-progress indicator for passengers on vehicles comprises a clock-driven disc 1 which carries on its surface alternate white and red sectors 3, 2 which pass in turn under a fixed datum line 5, the width of the white sectors being proportional to the duration of travel between two stations on the route and the width of the red sectors being proportional to the stopping-times at the marked stations. The approach to a station may be indicated by the automatic operation of a bell by the clock or by an electric contact device on the disc. In a modification, the disc is replaced by an endless ribbon bearing correctly proportioned coloured strips.
