449,342. Books. BLACKIE & SON, Ltd., 17, Stanhope Street, Glasgow, and BORN, M., 246, Hills Road, Cambridge. Feb. 18, 1935, No. 5139. Drawings to Specification. [Class 16] A printed book with the pages having unbroken margins and adapted to be read by turning the pages from right to left in the ordinary manner, has provided on the margins alongside the reading matter pictures or diagrams forming one or more mutoscopic series. The mutoscopic series may relate to the subject-matter of the book. According to the Provisional Specification the pictures or diagrams may be separately printed on slips which are gummed or otherwise attached to the pages of the book ; where there are several mutoscopic series, these are divided by index tabs ; and if the pages of the book are not sufficiently stiff, they are locally stiffened to facilitate manipulation.
