Abstract
446,402. Conductors for dynamoelectric machines. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP MACHINERIEEN - EN APPARATEN FABRIEKEN MEAF, 30, Croeselaan, Utrecht, Holland. Sept. 6, 1935, No. 24918. Convention date, Sept. 12, 1934. [Class 35] In a direct-current machine without commutating poles the slots of which are wider at the mouth than at the base the conductors are placed as close to the walls of the slot as possible and the space left in the middle of the slot is occupied by insulation. The Figure shows an arrangement of rectangular conductors B in a slot with stepped walls, the space between the conductors being occupied by blocks C1, C2, C3 of insulation decreasing in width inwardly. The conductors are separated from the slot walls by a uniform layer of insulation F.
