[Class 96] Filler in suspension from a vat 8 containing an agitator 9 is pumped at 7 to a spray 5, e.g. fan-shaped, is caught by a corrugated baffle or shield 10 down which it flows to a lip 11 of rubber &c. and is thus distributed uniformly and with minimum foam on to the wood or rag pulp suspension on the wirecloth 2 of a Fourdrinier paper-making machine. The baffle 10 may be at the lip 4 of the flowbox 1, or movable along the wire-cloth 2.
