[Class 12 (i)] [See also Group XVIII] A jewel bearing 6 for an electricity meter or other purpose is secured in a recess in holder 2 by an internal flange in a ring 4. The latter is formed with a groove 8 into which the metal of the holder is pressed or punched, as at 10, 11. In addition the edge of the holder 2 may be pressed inwards. A paper washer 9 is placed beneath the jewel. The holder is formed with a screw thread 1 to permit adjustment.
