444,421. Drinking-vessels; packing. KENNARD, A., and HILLER, L., 102, Old Street, London. Dec. 3,1934, Nos. 34650 /34 and 32396 /35. [Class 128] [See also Group XVII] A detachable handle for a drinking-vessel comprises a tapered dovetail portion 4 which fits into a corresponding recess in a boss 3 on the vessel. The vessel may be used as a container in which cigarettes and foodstuffs are sold, in which case a saucer 6 is used as a friction lid in the manner shown or as a screw cap, the flange 6 and the inside of the vessel mouth being threaded; the handle is packed in the container. In a modification the ends of a handle 11, one or both of which are springy, snap into recesses or apertures in bosses. The vessel 8 may have more than two bosses.
