Abstract

442,600. Baskets. WEBB, L. W. P., 225, Ebury Street, Westminster. Aug. 13, 1934, No. 23304. [Class 133] Baskets are provided with ribs or mouldings of wood &c. of right-angled section to protect them from wear and to serve as skids. The ribs A are continuous around the mouth of the basket and, where provided, intermediately of the walls, but at the bottom the end ribs are omitted and ribs parallel with and intermediate the side ribs may be provided. Each rib has a portion B directed inwardly of the basket and formed with a series of holes through which the stakes and the wire or cane runners E are passed in a continuous manner, the stakes &c. being bordered down in the recess afforded inside the rib at the mouth of the basket.
