Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (v)] Relates to systems in which a carrier wave is modulated by audio-frequency-modulated currents of intermediate frequency as described in Specification 436,937 and comprises a heterodyne receiver in which the local oscillator and beat frequency circuits are ganged so as to enable the received intermediate frequency to produce a suitable beat frequency for feeding to the second detector. The arrangement may be applied to the disturbance-removing circuits described in Specification 379,305. The Specification does not permit of satisfactory abridgment.
