Abstract
440,798. Filters. TEATINI, D., Hougaerde, Belgium. March 29, 1934, No. 9877. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Oct. 1, 1934]. [Class 46] A device for distributing wash water over the plates of a filter-press comprises a pipe 13 which extends transversely across the press, is provided with downwardly-directed jet nozzles 13<a>, Fig. 8, and is pivoted on a spindle 12, Fig. 4, on a carrier which travels on longitudinal bars 5 supported from the framework of the press. The wash water is supplied through a flexible pipe to a T-piece 9, the branches 9<b>, 9<c> have flexible connections to branches 13c, 13d of the pipe 13. It is stated that the arrangement may be applied to plate filters and other types of filter.
