Abstract

439,797. Winding bandages &c. BOORE, H. R., 134, Cromwell Road, Hounslow, Middlesex. Sept. 13, 1935, No. 25447. [Class 42 (ii)] A device for winding bandages &c. comprises a fixed corrugated surface 3 and a hinged like surface 4 adapted when closed to provide a sinuous path for the bandage &c. prior to its being rolled on the spindle 7. The spindle is removably held in a recess 9 and slot 10 in the frame and has a bar 11 parallel to it under which the leading end of the bandage is threaded. The member 4 is hinged to the frame 2 and secured by a latch 6. The corrugated members may consist of rounded pieces of wood glued on to backings.
