Abstract

439,642. Couplings. COLLINS, G. H., and COLLINS, H. F., Premier Works, Keeley Street, Birmingham. June 21, 1934, No. 18314. [Class 38 (i)] A protector for a flexible electric cable comprises a sleeve 10 of rubber &c. provided with means permitting flow of air along the sleeve between it and the cable. The sleeve may be spaced from the cable by being formed with one or more longitudinal or helical internal ribs 13 or with studs. Air may enter and leave the passages by way of holes 16 or slots and the exterior of the sleeve may be furnished with ribs.
