[Class 141] Gloves of fabric having a covering of vulcanized rubber or the like are characterized in that the hand portion alone is covered with a waterproof coating, whereas the wrist portion consists of a fabric, preferably knitted, which is merely impregnated with a waterproofing agent. The hand portion, made of a relatively loose fabric, may be coated by dipping it in a suitable rubber mass and immediately vulcanizing.
