Abstract
438,482. Sheet piling. SACHS, M., 87, Liechtensteinstrasse, Vienna. Feb. 16, 1935, Nos. 5103, 5104, and 5105. Convention dates, March 30, 1934, July 12, 1934, and Dec. 18, 1934. [Class 68 (ii)] A sheet-piling wall consists of interlocking piles of Z-section profile with rigid interlocks 5 of the form shown so that the parts 2 of the pile are at an angle to the line of symmetry 3. In modifications, the parts 2 are slightly curved, or are formed in a number of facets or panels ; the parts near the interlocks 5 may be parallel to the line 3. The parts 2 should be at least equal in length to the parts 1, and may increase in thickness from the parts 1 to the parts 5.
