Abstract

438,438. Electric transformer and like tanks with radiator elements. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London, and APPLEYARD, N., 16, Fisher Avenue, Paddox Delivery, Rugby. May 16, 1934, No. 14804. [Class 29] A number of tubes 4 entirely open and unrestricted at their ends extend through the medium in the tank 1, so that cooling-air may flow freely or be forced through them. The upper ends of the tubes may be located in a recess 5, Fig. 4, in the tank wall, or the tubes may extend to shoulders formed on the walls of the tank.
