Abstract

438,005. Hair combs. AIRCRAFT PRODUCTS, Ltd., COHEN, S., and PEACOCK, W., 89, New Oxford Street, London. May 11, 1935, No. 13869. [Class 131] In a reservoir comb, the passages 4 in the hollow teeth open directly into the liquid reservoir 1, the flow of liquid to the teeth and the ingress to the reservoir of compensating air from an air vent 9 being controlled by a longitudinally sliding rod 7 provided with pistons 6 separated by annular ports 7<a>. The rod 7 may be provided with a control knob 8 projecting through, and co-operating with, a slot in the comb. The teeth may be of waved configuration, the end teeth being solid and alternate centre teeth being provided with a passage for the liquid. The extremities of the teeth or, as shown, the extremities of the centre teeth, may have a curved contour to fit the shape of the head. The reservoir 1 is provided with a screw filler cap 10 having a finger depression 10<a> on its upper surface.
