Abstract
435,766. Clips. MILLS EQUIPMENT CO., Ltd., and LETHERN, A. A., 56, Victoria Street, Westminster. March 27, 1934, No. 9547. [Class 44] [See also Group VII] The head band of a helmet, hat, or like headgear is supported within it by a series of clips each comprising a strip of metal or other resilient ma terial bent over sc as to comprise twc arms connected by an intermediate portion of the strip and lying face tc face but spaced apart, one arm being secured to the head band and the other to the helmet. The clip may comprise an inner member A and an outer member B, the inner member having a spring finger B<1> projecting through a slot in the member B and having its free end bent inwards to engage a slot in the head band E. The other arm of the clip is secured to the helmet by a staple D. In a modification, the clip is made in one piece, struck up tongues G<1> serving in place of the staple, and a spring finger G<2> being struck up from the other arm.
