429,166. Gear pumps. BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK AKT.-GES., 12, Mohrenstrasse, Oberbarmen, Wuppertal, Germany. Jan. 14, 1935, No. 1250. Convention date, Jan. 18, 1934. [Class 110 (ii)] A gear pump 1, mainly for use in artificial silk spinning, has its shaft 9, connected to the driving shaft 8 by a clutch 10. A leather packing washer 12 may be fitted as shown. An extension 4 of the pump is held in a frame 5 by a bolt 6, inlet and outlet ports being in alignment in the connecting faces of the parts 4, 5.
