Abstract

A tubular double-ended electric incandescent lamp is provided at its ends with metal discs, and also with a filament-supporting structure which extends between, and connects the filament to, the discs, which consist of an iron alloy containing 26-30 per cent of chromium, less than 1 per cent of nickel and specified proportions of manganese, silicon, carbon, sulphur, and phosphorus.
