427,046. Electric hand-irons. HAMMERBAK, A. W. E., 16, Kongedybet, Copenhagen. Nov. 13, 1933, No. 31636. [Class 138 (ii)] The sole plate 1 of an electric hand-iron is provided with an upstanding central portion 2 wherein slots 3 are formed which extend downwardly from the top of the central portion nearly to the ironing surface of the sole plate. Heating bodies are inserted in the slots and are held therein by friction. A packing 5 of heat insulating material is inserted between the sole and cover plate 6 which is filled with light heat-insulating material such as infusorial earth.
