[Class 20 (i)] A device for fitting to the floors of coal bins or bunkers for the purpose of separating and collecting the slack from the lumps, comprises a surround 2 formed as a whole or in parts, a grid 5 slidably mounted on guides 3 on the surround, and a removable gate 7 hinged to the front portion of the grid and adapted normally to hang vertically. A tray may be used beneath the grid to collect the slack. The Provisional Specification describes also a door sliding in grooves in front of the well.
