Abstract

265,403. Harris & Sheldon, Ltd., and Stockwin, W. J. March 6, 1926. Showcases.-Sheet-glass fall-front doors for showcases are mounted in channelled metal edging strips 5 which do not extend to the full depth of the door. At one end the strips are hinged to horizontally sliding guide members 6 which can be drawn together to cause the edging strips to grip the glass 4. One or both strips may have a projection 7 engaging a recess in the glass to secure the latter in a positive manner. The guide members may be screwed to a spacing board 2, or in a modification they are separated by adjustable tie rods 14, 15, as in Fig. 9.
