Abstract
426,574. Swimming-costumes. BUCK & SONS, Ltd., E. R., and BUCK, R., 2, London Road, Manchester. Dec. 6, 1933, No. 34258. [Class 77] A backless bathing-costume comprises a strap or tape 8 which is threaded loosely through a ring or loop 6 provided on the costume at the bottom of the back opening thereof, the ends of the strap 8 being secured detachably to rings or loops 4 attached to the upper part of the front portion 2, so that the strap 8 may, if desired, be disconnected from the loop 6 and secured across the back of the neck, as shown in Fig. 2. In a modification, two straps each have one of their ends secured detachably to a ring or loop provided on the upper part of the front portion of the costume, and pass loosely through one or more rings provided at the top edge of the knicker portion, and have their other ends secured detachably to rings provided at the sides of the upper portion of the front of the costume.
