[Class 77] To provide support at the breast parts in ladies' swimming and like costumes made of stretchable material such as knitted fabric, a reinforcing zone 2 is provided for limiting the stretching and providing support. The zone may have a band of non- stretchable material, forming a belt, which may run straight across the garment or may follow the contour of the breasts as shown. The reinforcement may be narrow or wide or may consist of more than one zone. Embroidery or stitching may be employed for the reinforcement.
