425,275. Tops for cigarette tins. RICE, J. B., 325, 5th Avenue, New York, U.S.A. Aug. 23, 1934, No. 24330. Convention date, Oct. 20, 1933. [Class 18] A detachable ornamental top for the lid of a cigarette tin comprises a rectangular angle-section frame E<1> formed integral with or soldered to a recessed or flat rectangular top K<1>. Rosettes are provided at the corners and an ornamental escutcheon N<1> is provided in the middle of the part K<1>, which may be coloured and covered with transparent sheet material M<1>. The flanges of the frame are bowed inwardly so as to grip the flanges of the lid of the tin.
